The Marketing and Business Development Coordinator is responsible for executing the strategic sales and marketing plans that will allow CPG Agency to generate leads and meet or exceed revenue targets.

This person works under direction of the Marketing and Business Development Manager and is a key individual contributor to overall results by supporting our lead generation and sales efforts by taking responsibility for our digital marketing presence as well as developing and feeding the sales pipeline.

Strategic thinking, initiative, and superb communication and collaboration skills are also required since the Marketing and Business Development Coordinator is charged with ensuring that the sales and marketing team meets all goals by providing direction and monitoring progress.


This position requires a blend of the following responsibilities:

  • Be a careful steward of CPG Agency’s brand messaging and direction
  • Follow our company values and align with internal culture to ensure growth
  • Contribute/execute marketing strategy under direction of marketing manager
  • Manage CRM in Salesforce, CMS in WordPress and automation in HubSpot
  • Create and manage business development campaigns designed to qualify warm leads and acquire new customers via means like research and outreach
  • Respond to inquiries about company services in a timely and friendly manner
  • Undertake and monitor research to provide highly needed support for the business development team and account executives
  • Identify and communicate with new business leads for the organization
  • Develop good knowledge regarding priority verticals and trends
  • Maintain a prospect events calendar to assist in timing of biz dev outreach
  • Manage reports and information to ensure we’re honoring commitments made to prospects and team members
  • Assist team and make inquiries on small internal and external projects around holiday gifts and direct mail outreach, handle them from start to finish

  • Must be a driven self-starter with little micro-management
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing or related field
  • Experience in driving lead generation in a sales/marketing role
  • High standards of quality, efficiency and effectiveness (high performance)
  • High level strategic thinking ability and a quick learner
  • Ability to work well with all levels of internal personnel
  • Adaptability, flexibility and problem solving
  • Confidence, positivity and imperviousness
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and writing)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment, under tight deadlines
  • Performance will be measured based on mutually agreeable quotas
  • Salesforce and HubSpot experience is a plus
